Hi! I'm Teresa Green, Slow Paths Wellness founder. I know what it's like to have "nothing wrong with you" according to conventional medicine but to feel horribly sick. I help people with complicated and chronic health issues like anxiety, PTSD and cPTSD, chronic pain, and autoimmune and metabolic diseases. I also work with people wanting to prevent illness.

 

I'm a licensed acupuncturist, clincal herbalist, and certified health coach. I'm also a cancer survivor, and have dealt with my own chronic health problems, trauma, and pain. I can help you find the path to better health.

I've dealt with chronic illness and pain since I was a child. Until recently, I had the common experience of having my pain, fatigue, and illness being dismissed, and feeling unheard and misunderstood. I began to study Asian medicine because it has a framework that understands illness. Now I live nearly pain free, and can treat people's suffering even if they don't have a name to put to their suffering.

So many illnesses don't need to happen. Cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, type 2 diabetes, fibromyalgia--the medical community knows so much more about how to prevent illness than in the past. While we can't guarantee no one will ever get sick by following simple health and lifestyle guidelines, plenty of scientific data now says you can reduce your chance many major illnesses by as much as 90 percent with common sense attention to self-care in all its forms.
